Why I’m Here: I have been doing Crossfit for about 7+ years and coaching for 6 years. I love working with people to achieve goals and better themselves. I love seeing people push their limits and seeing what their body can do. I truly believe you can do anything you put your mind to.
What You Can Expect from Me: I will always be there for encouragement for that last rep, PR, or just for motivation. I love working with people on gymnastics movements. Helping and seeing people achieve new gymnastics movements, such as pull-ups or muscle ups, is always fun as that accomplishment is always a big deal.
Background: I was born and raised in Wisconsin, graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL with a major in Aeronautical Science and minor in Air Traffic Control. I moved to GA in 2005 to start my career as an Air Traffic Controller. Growing up I was a competitive gymnast and won several state titles. Through high school I did springboard diving. After moving to GA I started running and have several marathons under my belt and then took up triathlons and did 3 Ironmans (Wisconsin, Texas and Florida) I decided to take a break from Ironmans and that’s when I found Crossfit and haven’t looked back. My Husband Matt and I welcomed our first child in May of 2020. He keeps us busy and we hope he will follow in our footsteps and love being in the gym as much as we do. When it comes to Crossfit, I love competing and competing against myself and pushing myself to the limits and seeing what I can do.
Favorite CrossFit Movement: I love doing snatches and clean and jerks.
Favorite WOD: When it comes to a favorite WOD I love Grace and Fran, but I love a long grinding workout as well.
