How did you get into CrossFit? In college through studying! CrossFit was so new and fascinating to study. We developed studies to measure fitness through CrossFit and I fell in love with the methodology.

Favorite CrossFit movement? Power Cleans & Muscle Ups!


What’s your go to hype song at the gym? Tom Sawyer, by Rush

Tell us a little about you? I love working with people and coaching. It’s energizing to immerse myself in helping someone strategize a workout. I’ve always felt. I excelled at teaching no matter what I was doing. I love coffee, travel and exercise. If I can combine those things…even better!

What are you up to outside the gym?  Spending time outdoors! I 
love hiking with my wife Nicole and my dog Rae the Rhodesian Ridgeback. 


What’s one tip you think all athletes should hear? You must push yourself, but make sure you are able to come back tomorrow and do it again.
