CrossFit Level 2 Trainer

How did you get into CrossFit? A good friend started CrossFit and looked really badass after about 3 months so I wanted to look like that too! I’m still working on that 10 years later :)

Favorite CrossFit movement? Snatch and overhead squat for lifts; rope climbs and double unders for gymnastics


What are you doing outside the gym? Marketing insights and analytics, and moonlight as a sommelier and wine expert

What’s your go to hype song at the gym? Anything by the Scorpions! I’m old school.

Favorite guilty pleasure? Fried Chicken and Mac & cheese

Background info on who you are - I like to read a lot, I am also a nerd and I know a lot of useless trivia. I have an advanced degree in applied statistics from GA Tech and I also ran a wine shop from inside our gym for 5 years and just recently moved it to a tasting room down the street that is open on weekends by appointment. I have a husband and 2 kids as well as a basset hound who is my spirit animal.

What’s one tip you think all athletes should hear? The difference between good and great is very small, and it lies right outside the edge of comfort. 1 to the power of 365 is still 1; but 1.01 to the power of 365 is 37.8. Imagine making a 1% improvement every day for a year and you’ll achieve greatness.
