Don Waldera

Don was born in Baltimore and played competitive sports while growing up. He has always had a passion for health and fitness, earning a BS in Exercise Science from Towson University. Don bounced around in different gyms, lifting weights, running, and getting bored with all of them. After moving to Philadelphia, Don decided to try a CrossFit box that opened right behind his apartment.

CrossFit has filled his needs for both fitness and competition. The fun atmosphere and supportive nature in the box keeps him coming back. While in Philadelphia, Don earned his Level 1 CrossFit trainer certification. He has the technique and knowledge to teach others how to get their first muscle up or make a successful Olympic lift.

Outside of CrossFit, Don can be found with his fiancée, Lindsey, and their dog Jack; working at AT&T; or playing in whatever social sports league is going on.

Jesse Hughes

Level 1 Trainer

200-hr RYT (Yoga instructor)

Jesse first discovered CrossFit when she was asked to teach a Yoga class at a local box. “I wanted to know how the athletes felt, so I could create the most beneficial Yoga class for their needs.”
She was immediately hooked. In her mind, Yoga and CrossFit create a perfect balance. CrossFit helps you redefine your limits. Yoga helps you accept yourself as you are. Both help you know your body and maintain health…in mind, body, and spirit. They require discipline and commitment, invite you to have a sense of humor about yourself, and be connected through community.

Her days are filled with Yoga and CrossFit: teaching/coaching and doing, using both to develop her specialty Yoga for CrossFitters classes. Off the mat and out of the box, Jesse enjoys all kinds of adventures with her two rescued pooches.
